Terms of Service

Last updated 20 October 2026

These are the rules for using anything Teurons runs. We have kept them short and plain. Product-specific rules sit in separate addenda that apply on top of these terms.

Who these terms are with

These terms are an agreement between you and Teurons, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Teurons", "we", "us"). By creating an account, using a Service or visiting our site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

If you accept on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm you are allowed to bind it, and "you" means that organisation.

The Services

"Services" means teurons.com, accounts.teurons.com and every product Teurons operates, including products on teurons.com subdomains. It includes any software, widgets, APIs and documentation we provide with them. Some products are experimental or have no hosted accounts yet. These terms still cover any Teurons product you use.

Product addenda

Some products need rules of their own. Those live at /legal/<product>, for example the Lumio addendum. An addendum applies on top of these terms. If an addendum and these terms conflict, the addendum wins for that product.

The full list is on the legal index. These terms also work together with our:

One Teurons account

accounts.teurons.com is the shared login for our products. You can sign in with Google, GitHub, or an email and password. One account works across every product that uses it. Using a product through your account means you accept these terms and that product's addendum. Some products still have their own sign-in. These terms apply to those accounts in the same way.

Closing your account at accounts.teurons.com ends your access to every product that depends on it, subject to the rules for ending use below and any product addendum.

Your account

  • You must be at least 16 and allowed to use the Services under the law that applies to you.
  • Give us accurate details and keep them up to date.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your credentials. Keep them safe.
  • Tell us promptly at hello@teurons.com if you suspect someone else has used your account.

Where a product has organisations or teams, whoever creates the organisation controls its membership and roles, and can see and manage everything in it, including content added by other members. Invite accordingly.

Your content

Your content stays yours. We claim no ownership of anything you or your organisation put into the Services, including content you bring from third-party services you connect.

You give us only the permission we need to run the Services for you: to host, store, copy, process and display that content as the product you use requires. That permission ends when you delete the content or close your account, apart from short-lived backups and anything the law requires us to keep.

You are responsible for your content. You confirm you have the right to use it and that it does not break the law or infringe anyone's rights.

Acceptable use

Do not use the Services to:

  • publish or send unlawful, deceptive or infringing content
  • host malware, or attack, probe or overload the Services
  • get around plan limits, rate limits or security controls, or reach another customer's data
  • impersonate anyone, or use a product on sites or accounts you do not control or have permission to use
  • resell a Service as your own product without a written agreement with us
  • copy, scrape or replicate the Services, or reverse engineer them to build a competing product

Automated access through an API we publish is fine within its stated limits.

Payments

Some Services are free, some may be free for a limited time, and some may be paid. Each product's addendum or pricing page says which. If a Service is paid, we will show the price before you buy, and payments are handled by a payment provider named on the subprocessors list. Unless the law or an addendum says otherwise, fees are non-refundable.

If we introduce charges for something you use for free today, we will tell you first and give you reasonable notice. Any promise to keep existing free limits is in the relevant product addendum.

Third-party services

Some products work with services we do not run, such as the tools you connect or sign in with. Those services have their own terms, and we do not control them. If they change or become unavailable, parts of our Services may stop working. We will adapt where we reasonably can.

Open-source code

Some of our tools are open source and published at github.com/teurons. Each repository is released under its own licence. That licence, and not these terms, governs how you may use, copy and change that code.

Our intellectual property

The Services, including software, design, documentation, the Teurons name and logo, and the content of this site, belong to Teurons or its licensors. You may use the Services as these terms allow. You may not use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you or your work without asking us first. This does not limit your rights under an open-source licence to the code itself.

Feedback

If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them freely, without obligation or payment to you.

Availability and changes to the Services

We work to keep the Services running, but unless an addendum says otherwise we do not offer an uptime guarantee or service level agreement. We may change, suspend or discontinue features or products. For changes that would materially reduce what you already rely on, we will give reasonable notice where we can.

Ending your use

You can stop at any time by deleting your account or the relevant organisation. We handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, creates risk for other customers, or is used unlawfully. Unless the breach is serious or we are legally required to act immediately, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it. If we close your account without cause, you get a reasonable opportunity to export your data.

Sections that by their nature should survive, such as ownership, disclaimers, liability, indemnity and governing law, survive the end of these terms.

No warranty

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Services will be uninterrupted, accurate or free of errors. Nothing on our site is professional advice.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data, even if warned they were possible.

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the relevant Service in the 12 months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars. For a free Service, that means one hundred US dollars.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Teurons against third-party claims arising from content you publish through the Services, your use of the Services in breach of these terms, or your handling of the data of your own users or customers.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute about these terms or the Services will be heard only in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you and Teurons agree to their exclusive jurisdiction.

General

If a provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent. We may transfer ours as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. These terms, the documents they link to and any addendum are the whole agreement between you and us about the Services.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms or any addendum. The date at the top of each page shows when it last changed. For material changes we will email account owners at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept the new terms. If you do not, stop using the Services and close your account.
