This addendum covers Lumio at lumio.teurons.com. It applies on top of the Teurons Terms of Service. If this addendum and the Terms conflict, this addendum wins for Lumio. Words defined in the Terms mean the same here.
The short version: your content is yours, Lumio is free during early access and accounts made now keep their limits, do not abuse the service, and we make no uptime promises yet.
What Lumio does
Lumio reads Notion databases you connect and renders them as a widget inside your product: a product-updates feed, a help centre, and announcements. We copy your Notion content into our systems so the widget can serve it quickly.
Notion connection
Lumio depends on Notion. If Notion changes its API, restricts access or is unavailable, parts of Lumio may stop working. We will adapt where we reasonably can, but we do not control Notion and cannot promise their platform will keep behaving as it does today.
You give us permission to read the Notion databases you connect, store copies and display them through the widget on the sites you authorise. That permission ends when you delete the content or close your account. You are responsible for having the right to publish what you connect.
The widget and where you embed it
You may embed the Lumio widget only on sites and products you control or have permission to use. Do not impersonate anyone through it. You decide what appears in the widget, and you are responsible for it.
Your end users
When you embed the widget, we process data about the people using your product on your behalf. You are the controller of that data and we are your processor. You decide what to send us. Identifying a user, and any properties you attach, is your choice.
You are responsible for having a lawful basis for that data and for telling those people about it in your own privacy notice. The Privacy Policy describes what we receive and what we do with it, and the Data Processing Agreement covers our role as your processor.
Organisations
Work in Lumio happens inside an organisation. Whoever creates it controls membership and roles, and can see and manage everything in it, including content added by other members.
Free during early access
Lumio is currently free. There is no paid plan you can buy, and we do not ask for card details. The free plan includes:
| Limit | Free plan |
|---|---|
| Connected Notion workspaces | 1 |
| Notion databases (sources) | 2 |
| Widgets | 1 |
| Synced pages | 100 |
| Docs collections | 1 |
These limits are enforced by the service.
Accounts created during early access keep these limits when paid plans launch. We have said this publicly on the Lumio pricing page and we mean it.
When we introduce paid plans we will announce pricing beforehand and give you at least 30 days' notice before anything you use starts costing money. If you do not want to pay, you can stay within the free limits or export your data and leave.
AI Assistant
Lumio has an optional AI Assistant that answers questions from your own docs. It is off unless an organisation enables it with its own API key. When it is on, the question asked and the excerpts from your docs used to answer it are sent to the AI provider named on the subprocessors list, and the conversation history is kept so follow-up questions make sense. Answers can be wrong. You are responsible for checking them and for what you let the assistant tell your users.
Lumio-specific rules
On top of the acceptable use rules in the Terms, do not use Lumio to:
- circumvent Lumio's plan limits or rate limits
- embed the widget on sites you do not control or have permission to use
- resell Lumio as your own product without a written agreement with us
Automated access through our API is fine within the published limits. Scraping or replicating the service is not.
Availability during early access
During early access we do not offer a service level agreement or an uptime guarantee. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. For changes that would materially reduce what you already rely on, we will give reasonable notice where we can.
Ending Lumio
You can stop at any time by deleting your account. We remove your organisation's data as described in the Privacy Policy. If we close your account without cause, you get a reasonable opportunity to export your data.
